Creative Arts Director

David Robinson - actor/comic/presenter .... Saltmine's Creative Arts teams enjoy critical acclaim and increasing popularity under the direction of David Robinson, Saltmine's Creative Arts Director.  In addition to his overall responsibility for the entire department, David has also written and performed in many of the Saltmine Theatre Company productions, as well as performing in his own 'One Man Show'. David is also touring 'God's Smuggler', the story of Brother Andew, in partnership with Christian persecution awareness charity Open Doors www.opendoorsuk.org.

Richard Hasnip is an experienced actor, director, writer and workshop leader. With David Robinson he has co-directed many of Saltmine’s recent productions as well as writing Emma’s Mystery, The Chainbreakers and the stage adaptation for The Cross and the Switchblade for Saltmine Theatre Company and Beauty and the Feast and More than a Christmas Carol for Red Balloon Theatre Company. He has also written and acted in The Follower and The King two series of short films telling the stories of Easter and Christmas. He is currently working with Regents Theology College to develop a B.A. (Hons) course in Applied Theology and the Performing Arts. Richard is married to Anne and lives in Lower Gornal.

Jessica Turner joined Saltmine in August 2005.  Home to her is the beautiful Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada where she lived until June 2005 when she moved to England.  Her background is in Christian studies, having graduated from Bible school in Texas, and business administration in which she graduated from her business school at home in Nova Scotia.  Jessica led the college and career ministry at her church in Canada and has a passion for helping people live to their God-given potential.  She is also a big fan of ultimate Frisbee, gardening, and of course God.  Jessica married John in September 2006.
