‘The Follower’ is a trilogy of short films telling the story of Easter from the viewpoint of the apostle Peter. It presents the story in a gritty, modern style remaining faithful to the Biblical account.

The first part of ‘The Follower’ recounts Peter’s memories of Jesus’ triumphal entry into the city.

As he remembers the events of Palm Sunday he questions who Jesus is and recalls how his life changed when Jesus called him to follow.

Good Friday - "People have to know what happened"

Peter is lying low, terrified and in anguish. Nevertheless, he has to get the truth out about what he saw. He chooses to call an ambitious young journalist and as their interview unfolds, the horror of the crucifixion is brought to light.

Easter Day - "Death is the end of every life, every plan and every story…but not this one"

Still in hiding, Peter receives an unexpected visitor with news that will change his life and change the world...
