For many years Saltmine have been supporting needy churches and projects in Eastern Europe, especially in Bulgaria, often described as “the forgotten country of the Balkans.” We are so grateful for the many churches, organisations and individuals around the UK, and elsewhere, who partner with us to help change the lives of many people in Bulgaria, and here you can read about some of the ways you can get involved. |

Bulgaria is changing as it heads towards European Union membership on 1st January 2007, but there is still along way to go and instant results are unlikely. The elderly, those with disability, children in the institutions, and minority groups remain especially vulnerable. Will you help us help them?
