Brian & Chris Clarke: are the Country Managers for our work in Bulgaria. They joined Saltmine in February 2000 after 10 years ministry with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). They also have a significant teaching role relating to Marriage & Family issues.

Paul & Joy Gilliver: Previously associate workers with Saltmine, who also worked for YWAM, Paul joined the permanent staff in April 2004 as a Project Manager with special responsibility for overseeing our short-term Bulgaria mission teams.

Peter & Wendy Barnes: A former senior Policeman, Peter is now an Associate with special responsibilities for the work at Burzitsa Children’s Home. Until his “retirement” after 17 years service in January 2004, Peter was the Saltmine Co-ordinator for Eastern Europe.

Irene Liddy: Formerly the Chief Executive of Birmingham YMCA, brings a wealth of experience to the team. She has taken particular responsibility for EU funding initiatives and she will also provide advise on the hostel facilities being set up at The Blue House. 

Ian & Melanie Tipper: Are mission-hearted members of an Anglican Church in Aldridge, Walsall. They have made several visits to Bulgaria as part of teams, and have a particular emphasis for prayer initiatives.

Roger & Eileen Wilcox: head up our partner group in Walsall - “Bulgaria Aid.” They have many years experience in helping Bulgaria, and regularly ship aid containers from a storage facility in Walsall.

Liz Allen: is a member of Sutton Coldfield Baptist Church, who is trained in general nursing and midwifery, and also runs her own business facilitating leadership development in the NHS, has taken responsibility for a range of health initiatives in Bulgaria.

Colin & Frances Tyne: are long-term Saltmine supporters who have served the ministry faithfully. Colin has now taken major responsibility for the national launch, and ongoing management of our Krasif Bulgarian jewellery initiative.
