Saltmine Technical Services provides Saltmine’s creative teams with sound, lighting and video equipment and technical expertise. Our professional equipment stock is available for hire and we’re happy to quote for dry hires as well as a being able to provide a full production planning and management service for larger events. Equipment Hire and Event Production
Whether you require a small PA system or a larger conference or band P.A., STS can provide equipment and personnel for your event. Experienced engineers are on hand to give help and advice. If required we can record your event onto a multi-track recording system, CD or DAT. We also have in-house duplicating facilities, including label and insert design and printing. |

We have video production and projection facilities, from single data projector hires to multiple-screen systems with video playback and control equipment.
STS has a stock of both generic and intelligent lights, controllers and rigging equipment suitable for all types of event. We can cater for theatre shows, conferences, rock ‘n’ roll gigs and discos. Whatever type of event you’re running, we have equipment and expertise to cater for your requirements. |

Mark Daniel was born near Saltmine's home of Dudley and has always had a fascination with all things technical. After exhausting the sound and lighting opportunities at school and church he moved to Manchester to broaden his horizons, where he was involved in several productions of the Manchester Universities' Gilbert and Sullivan Society, as well as hiring out sound equipment, working as a software engineer and generally elbowing his way in on as many interesting shows as he could. In his spare time managed to fit in a Computer Science degree. After four years, with his degree completed and parental funding dried up the prodigal returned home - to find employment with Saltmine Technical Services in September 2005 doing all the things he was doing anyway and being paid for the privilege!
